This morning the whole year 7 block gathered in 7sh to watch a movie. Not just a movie for fun. We watched it for our Kete that we will be doing in the next few weeks. The movie was called The Lorax. The kete subject is sustainabilty.
The whole idea of the movie was to treat your environment how your meant to by not chopping trees down because you can injure a lot of animals and all the trees.
The author wanted you to think about the environment and all the harm you can do and how that is bad. For example, by throwing rubbish on the ground, it's just as rude as if some one dropped rubbish in you house.
I thought the movie was a good start to our Kete. Don't ever cut down trees it's bad for us and the enviroment .
